Cultural Night at BYU Hawaii

Cultural Night at BYU-H was a delightful two nights of dance performances from 25 countries.  Performers were students in the various international clubs on campus.  I took a million pictures.  Here are a few cool ones!

This group from Korea was mesmerizing!
Such beautiful costumes!

This is our student, Tiffannie, with the Latin America group.

That which we obtain too easily,
we esteem too lightly.
It is dearness only
which gives everything its value.
Heaven knows how
to put a proper price on its goods.

Rats and Turtles

Yesterday while Chris and Bill Baker were singing on the porch with uku lessons, Jeannie and I were writing up sales manually due to the system being down. Those darn rats chewed through all the cables so we heard no bells ringing from the till. Thankfully our guests were kindly patient and understanding about it all.

Making leis for our turtle kits
Turtle making kits bagged and ready for sale
So cute!

We stuffed two of them to show how cute they are.

Today was stake conference and in the 4pm session Chris led a priesthood choir.
