Saturdays at the PCC Mission Settlement

We love working with the Bakers!
Every Saturday at the Settlement, we open up, set up shop and have an opening song and prayer then Br. Baker tells us whatever we may need to know and concludes saying “Lets go make it a great day!”  He & Sis. Baker are really great to work with.  We just love them.

Making more microwave bowls holders

We hung up this new quilt today!  So pretty.  These are
all hand stitched and take 900 hours!  Original Hawaiian
quilting was just two colors.  They believed that more colors
distracted from all the quilted stitches.
From our Office:  The PCC was really full of happy travelers yesterday.  The clouds kept it cool and made us think rain was coming any minute but it held off all day!  This week there were travelers from India, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Mayanmar, Denmark, Batesville Indiana, Moore Idaho, all over Asia and tons more places.  They come here from all over the world.  Even someone came from Iran!  The PCC is 55 years old this year!

I had a lovely morning at the temple Wednesday.  Sis. Susan Tanner was one of the Temple workers.  Her husband is the  BYU-H president and Sis. Tanner was the 12th General Pres of the Young Women’s organization. I loved being with her there at our session.
