Visit from Dallings

Had a nice visit from Chris's sister Laurel and niece Davilyn

Even got a visit from this cute little kitty!  I fed him some table scraps and he gave me generous purrs as I gave him lovin' massages.

Find the guitar or ukulele in each picture!

Our family has walked/ swam (is that a word) over there

Topped off the early evening with a little bike ride to the grocery store

Saturday at Hukilau

Just an hour, but oh so lovely!

Walking down to Hukiau Beach
(yes I played with this photo a little ha ha!
Isn't it pretty photo enhancing)

Chris getting ready for the perfect wave
and then riding it into the shore:

Me playing in the sand. Where's my little Kaydance
to paint my toenails!
Ha ha!  On the way home this young man was on
his way to a mowing job!  Very clever riding behind
the self propelled mower with his skateboard!

Here and there at the PCC

Children fishing in the Island of Tahiti
Imu roasting in the ground

Some of our wonderful guides preparing for the day.
Our office is right by the guides area and we get to see them
prepare for the day.  This is a special rock just outside.

Here is a close up of the lovely message.  You might have to click
on the image in order to read it.

This is similar to a story we learned in Africa.
God told a man to push a very big rock.
Satan came along and discouraged him because he wasn't making any progress.
The man prayed.
God told him "I didn't say to move the rock, I just told you to push it.  I will move it."
Huli Huli Chicken is the new Luau dish
that Chef Morales brought to our committee
meeting.  It's fun to be test tasters at the PCC!
PS  I'm kicked out of hula! :( Boo hoo.  Ha ha!  Sounds really funny right?  Lisa, Nina and I are the only 3 "gracious ladies" in the class.  We look straight forward so I don't know how they were doing but I WAS KEEPING UP!  Yes, I really was.  I LOVED class and have so much to write about it.  Turns out this month of August it has been open to all - but now it is just for ages 16-35.  Me, Lisa and Nina are quite a bit older than 35 - me especially.  But that doesn't mean we are too old to dance.  There is another Halau who accepts "gracious ladies" so I'll have to see.  They meet in the hot evenings after I'm all tuckered out.  Saturday 7am I like much better.
